It is around two in the afternoon on Wednesday, 16 June, that the mages finally wake, though the woman they rescued continues sleeping peacefully on Patrick's couch. They debate what to do with her, and eventually they call Agdos to ask permission to leave the woman with the Brotherhood of Ineffable Truth. They receive grudging acceptance, which is entirely forgotten once they wake the woman up to talk to her. She gives her name as Sara Kiplinger. Through conversation, the mages learn that she was guided (presumably by Angrboða's influence) to drive to a bad part of town and park in front of an abandoned shopping mall. That is the last thing she remembers.
